We four independent filmmakers document the making of 'His Signature Dish' — our first feature, filmed across Redcar, Saltburn, Morecambe, Skinningrove and various places across the NE and NW coasts of England.
After 18 months of ups and downs, collapsing budgets and our fuck em attitude we are finally here. For the next 3 months we are going to nail it.
So at last here it is.......... our production diary.

Alex Moran – Director
Former theatre director turned filmmaker. Drawn to bleak seascapes and unreliable narrators. Known for insisting “weather is a character.”
Walter Stone – Producer
Budget wrangler, eternal realist. Previously produced three short films and one disastrous crowdfunding campaign. Handles logistics and ghosts.
Erin Vale – Cinematographer
Visual poet of overcast skies. Shoots almost exclusively on 16mm. Claims that “grain is memory.”
Sandy Bey – Writer
Screenwriter and chronic over-thinker. Discovered Anthony Cru’s novels during lockdown and hasn’t known peace since.
